The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued an orange code warning for significant rainfall in the western Southern Carpathians and submontane areas of Oltenia, valid until November 2. Snow is expected above 1700 meters, accumulating 20-40 cm. A yellow code is also in effect for several counties, predicting rainfall of 25-35 l/m². Strong winds will affect many regions, particularly in Muntenia and Dobrogea, with gusts reaching 50-70 km/h. The beginning of November will see cloudy weather and temperatures dropping to 8-9 degrees Celsius, with potential frost in peripheral areas. ANM forecasts a colder period ahead, especially in Bucharest.
