The National Meteorological Administration issued yellow and orange alerts for heavy rain, snow, and strong winds across various regions in Romania. Snow accumulation in mountainous areas could reach 40 cm, with wind gusts up to 80 km/h. Rainfall is expected in Oltenia, Muntenia, and Dobrogea, with totals of 30-50 l/m². A significant orange alert is in effect for the western Southern Carpathians, predicting 50-70 l/m² of precipitation.
