A fugitive, wanted for eight months, was found by police in a remote village in the Apuseni Mountains. Mihai Eracle P., serving a nearly seven-year sentence for rape, had been released on medical grounds but failed to return to prison. He was placed on national wanted lists after evading his sentence. Police located him in Cheia village, where he had been hiding in a barn. He has now been handed over to authorities for incarceration.
