Olha and her husband Viaceslav, along with other evacuees from Oleșki, recount their harrowing experiences of life under Russian occupation and their recent escape. After enduring severe hardships, including food shortages and constant bombardments, they managed to leave during a brief humanitarian ceasefire. Many evacuees reunited with family members after years apart, while others expressed concern for those still trapped in the war-torn city. As they arrive in Cernihiv, they face the challenge of rebuilding their lives without any immediate support or connections in safer areas of Ukraine.
