Inter Milan, coached by Romanian Cristi Chivu, faced a significant defeat against AC Milan, losing 1-3 in Serie A. Italian media criticized Chivu's tactical decisions, particularly his choice of a 3-5-1-1 formation instead of the usual 3-5-2. They noted the team lacked identity and determination, especially after conceding the third goal. Chivu received low ratings from various outlets, with comments highlighting his late substitutions and ineffective strategies. The team's defensive fragility was also pointed out, with 13 goals conceded in ten matches, raising concerns about their title aspirations.
