Two new permanent exhibitions at the Palace of the Princes in Alba Iulia showcase the history of Transylvania, focusing on the 17th century. Visitors can explore the flourishing period of the Principality under Gabriel Bethlen and the cultural transformations during later princes. The exhibitions feature original artifacts, including the first complete Romanian New Testament printed in 1648, and interactive installations that allow visitors to experience historical printing techniques. The project "PRINCIPATUS: Transylvania, from Glory to Decline" was funded with 11 million HUF, enhancing the visitor experience at this historical site.
