The Ministry of Energy is developing support schemes for non-household consumers in response to rising gas and electricity prices. Minister Dumitru Chisăliţă highlighted the significant increase in natural gas prices for industrial consumers, which has doubled compared to last year. Any proposed measures require approval from the Competition Council. A working group has been established to create policies aimed at supporting both non-household energy consumers and vulnerable consumers. The minister emphasized that while they are proposing solutions, the final implementation depends on validation from relevant authorities, and only a portion of the final price is influenced by these policies.
