Residents of Iași received an emergency RO-Alert message due to a potential drone incursion. The IGSU urged citizens to seek shelter immediately, away from windows. The alert was triggered by aerial targets detected near the eastern border, prompting NATO and Romanian Air Force monitoring. This is not the first alert for the region, which has seen repeated drone incursions linked to Russian military activities. Authorities have activated safety protocols and prepared intervention teams to assess any potential impact from falling debris. The situation reflects ongoing security concerns in the area due to the conflict in Ukraine.
