The drone, which came from Ukraine's Odesa region, was tracked heading towards the Transnistrian area. This incident occurred amid ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine. The airspace was restricted shortly after the drone's entry, and it was later identified near Bănești. The National Army's Air Operations Center continues to monitor the situation in collaboration with relevant authorities. A similar incident was reported on October 16, when a drone crashed in Moldova.
