The Minister of Energy, Dumitru Chisăliță, announced that electricity bills for households may rise by 10% to 22% this winter compared to last year. He noted that prices vary among suppliers and are reflected on the ANRE portal. Chisăliță emphasized that while electricity prices are increasing, gas prices remain capped, ensuring that household bills for gas should not exceed last year's levels due to existing legislation. The capped price for natural gas is set to remain until March 31, 2027, which should stabilize costs for consumers.
