Mihnea, son of Vlad Țepeș, ruled Wallachia briefly and was known for his cruelty. His reign ended violently when he was assassinated outside a church in Sibiu. Despite initial support from the Ottomans, his brutal policies alienated many nobles, leading to his downfall. After fleeing to Transylvania, he was betrayed and killed by enemies. His body was buried with honors in the same church where he was murdered, marked by a memorial plaque.
