A recent Avangarde survey reveals widespread dissatisfaction among Romanians regarding the country's direction and political decisions. Half of the respondents believe PNL made a mistake by voting for the Luca Niculescu government, despite previously stating they would remain in opposition. The survey indicates a shift in voting intentions, with PSD gaining three percentage points while PNL loses one. Trust in the country's direction is low, with 78% of participants feeling it is heading in the wrong way. Respondents prioritize salary and pension increases, followed by anti-corruption measures. Most believe the government should cut its own spending to reduce the budget deficit, while only 2% support raising taxes. The survey was conducted from October 21-26, 2023, with 1,000 respondents.
