The European economy showed moderate growth in Q3, with a 0.4% increase in GDP despite rising oil prices due to geopolitical tensions. Eurozone growth surpassed analysts' expectations, reaching 1.3% year-on-year. Resilience is noted among households and businesses, although inflation remains above the ECB's target. The ECB may raise interest rates in December to combat inflation, which is currently at 3.8%. Germany's economy grew by 0.2%, while France contracted by 0.1%. Ireland's growth was significant at 5.5%, but without it, the eurozone's growth would have been only 0.2%. Lithuania and France faced declines, with Lithuania down by 2.4%.
