The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) warns of persistent rain and colder temperatures as autumn settles in. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall is in effect, particularly in the submontane and mountainous areas of Mehedinți and Gorj counties, where significant precipitation is expected. In Bucharest, light rain is forecasted with temperatures below average. Rainfall will continue in the southwestern and southern regions until mid-next week, with increasing wind speeds expected from November 1. Snow is anticipated in the Southern Carpathians at higher altitudes, accumulating up to 30 cm.
