The number of Romanians vaccinated against influenza by the end of October is 29% lower than last year, attributed to vaccine shortages. Despite this, over 600,000 doses are expected to be delivered soon. The respiratory infection season has started with fewer cases compared to previous years, with 507,513 vaccinations recorded. The Ministry of Health announced new vaccine distributions due to low pharmacy stocks. Four vaccines are authorized in Romania, with full compensation for high-risk groups. The incidence of respiratory infections is also lower than in past seasons, with a reported decrease in cases.
