The ASTRA Museum and the Cultural Center of the Principality Palace in Transylvania will host an international conference on November 5-6, 2026, focusing on the Haban community. This event coincides with the temporary exhibition "Art and Mystery: Haban Ceramics and the Principles of Transylvania." Researchers from Romania, Germany, and Hungary will explore the history, architecture, theology, and craftsmanship of the Haban potters from Vințu de Jos, as well as their impact on European heritage and Transylvanian guilds. Contributions will include insights from the ASTRA Museum's research and restoration team. The Haban community was one of the most notable Anabaptist groups in Europe.
