Ukrainian forces have resumed attacks on Russian refineries, according to Moscow authorities. Three refineries and a chemical facility were targeted, with one site reportedly sustaining minor damage. Vice Prime Minister Aleksandr Novak confirmed the attacks but did not provide details on the weapons used. Ukrainian military channels shared images of fires at a site believed to belong to the Novokuibyshevsk refinery. The attacks were allegedly carried out using Ukrainian-made FP-1 drones. This marks a continuation of Ukraine's strategy to target industrial facilities deep within Russian territory amid ongoing conflict since February 2022. The U.S. has urged Ukraine to refrain from such attacks to avoid rising global fuel prices.
