In November, some Romanian pensioners will experience a one-day delay in receiving their pensions due to the first of the month falling on a Sunday. The National House of Public Pensions announced that over two million pensioners who receive payments via postal services will be affected. Payments will start on November 2, 2026, and those not at home during delivery can collect their pensions from the post office within two working days. However, pensioners receiving payments via bank cards will not face delays, with transfers occurring as usual on November 12, 2026. New pensioners will receive their first payment by mail, but subsequent payments will be made to their cards.
