Alexandru Rogobete, the Minister of Health, announced a budget rectification that allocates 8.3 billion lei for health services. This funding aims to address financial pressures affecting essential medical services. The allocation includes 1.2 billion lei for the Ministry of Health and 7.1 billion lei for the National Health Insurance House, covering urgent care, ambulances, medications, and hospital investments. Specific amounts are designated for emergency units, ambulance services, and priority health actions. Rogobete acknowledged ongoing challenges and indicated that further funding for medical leave will be addressed in the next budget rectification.
