Denmark is set to be reimbursed by Estonia after a 70 million euro arms deal with a fraudulent Italian company resulted in no actual weapons being delivered to Ukraine. The Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur resigned following the scandal, which revealed that the company, Datasel, was not capable of producing arms. The funds were misallocated, with 9.5 million euros from Denmark intended for artillery and grenades ending up with a company that had no manufacturing capabilities. Estonia has initiated legal action against the Indian-owned Datasel, which claims it fulfilled its obligations. Danish officials are working to recover the funds, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
