Romanian courier company Sameday anticipates nearly 10 million parcels will be processed during the Black Friday 2026 campaign, marking a 16% increase from 2025. The campaign starts on November 6, 2026, with Sameday expecting to handle over twice the usual volume, peaking at over 925,000 parcels in a single day. To accommodate this surge, Sameday has increased sorting capacity by 20% through new hubs and expansions. The easybox network remains the primary delivery method, with over 7,000 lockers installed. Sameday has invested approximately 300 million lei in logistics, technology, and easybox expansion in 2026, aiming to maintain this investment level in 2027. The company is also enhancing its mobile app and AI-driven customer service solutions, while cross-border courier services are being developed through Pactic.
