Children aged 5 to 18 participated in outdoor educational activities through the "Hiking Years" program, which included 40 outings in October 2026. Funded by the Sibiu County Council, these activities aimed to foster a love for nature. Over 1,000 preschoolers and students from various localities engaged in free hiking experiences, replacing traditional classroom settings with natural environments. The program, now in its fifth year, emphasizes the importance of education in promoting ecotourism and environmental respect. Future outdoor lessons are planned for November 2026, depending on weather conditions.
