Romanian Prime Minister Luca Niculescu emphasized the need for urgent action to address the treatment of severe burn patients, 11 years after the Colectiv nightclub tragedy. He urged Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete to collaborate with the Finance Ministry to secure funding for a new adult burn center in Bucharest. While two promised centers in Timișoara and Târgu Mureș are nearing readiness, they are not yet operational. Niculescu highlighted the ongoing need for a modern facility in the capital and stressed the government's responsibility to turn lessons from past tragedies into concrete healthcare improvements. He also commemorated the victims of the Colectiv fire, acknowledging the pain still felt by families and survivors.
