A rescue operation is underway in northern India after a helicopter with six people disappeared in the Himalayas. The aircraft lost contact while flying between Badrinath and Joshimath in Uttarakhand. Initial reports suggest it may have crashed near Chayee village, but the exact location remains unknown. Search efforts are complicated by adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain and low visibility. The entire fleet of Trans Bharat Aviation has been grounded pending investigation. Authorities are prepared to provide medical assistance if survivors are found.
