In the first nine months of 2026, Romania recorded 106,932 job placements through ANOFM, with 52,401 women employed. CONAF emphasizes that these figures do not adequately reflect the reintegration of economically inactive individuals. They call for an evaluation of measures aimed at activating inactive women and assessing the effectiveness of existing programs. Despite the ongoing labor shortage, many potential workers remain outside the economy. The OECD has highlighted the low participation of women in the labor market and recommended enhancing public employment services to identify inactive individuals and improve access to relevant training. CONAF urges the Ministry of Labor to present results on the activation of inactive women and to publish indicators that allow for a better assessment of professional reintegration.
