The Minister of Economy, Daniel Zamfir, criticized the budget execution of his institution, labeling it as "absolutely shameful" and announced controls and changes in management at several state companies. He expressed concerns about the potential privatization of strategic assets. Zamfir revealed that the budget execution was only about 23% of the allocated 3.6 billion lei, with minimal spending from the PNRR funds.
