Four individuals have been indicted for fraud and forgery related to cemetery plots in Bucharest. They allegedly deceived plot owners over a year, claiming urgent repairs were needed to avoid penalties. Two of the accused are under house arrest, while the others are on judicial control. They manipulated victims by damaging graves beforehand and presented false documents to justify payments. The total financial loss for victims amounts to over 615,000 lei, 18,000 euros, and 23,234 dollars, with precautionary measures placed on the defendants' assets. The case has been forwarded to the court for further proceedings.
