PPC Blue România and OSCAR Downstream have signed a contract to install 30 electric vehicle charging points at service areas along the A7 highway. Fourteen of these will cater to electric trucks and buses, providing at least 350 kW each. The remaining 16 points for cars are already installed and will be operated by PPC Blue after the concession contract takes effect. The service areas, located at kilometer 131, are leased for 30 years to OSCAR Downstream by CNAIR. PPC Blue will finance, design, install, and maintain the charging stations, enhancing electric mobility infrastructure. This initiative aims to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle charging along highways in Romania.
