Christina Verchere, CEO of OMV Petrom, announced she will not seek a new term on the company's Board. Her current mandate ends on April 16, 2027. Verchere has led the company through significant transformations since her appointment in May 2018. Emma Delaney, Chair of the Supervisory Board, praised her leadership and contributions to the energy transition in Romania. OMV Petrom recently reported an 18% increase in net profit for the first nine months of 2026. It remains uncertain if Verchere's term will conclude before or after the Neptun Deep gas project begins production. The Supervisory Board will announce future Board composition in line with legal requirements.
