The probable causes of the fire that claimed the lives of two young children have been identified. The investigation by ISU Sibiu concluded that the fire likely started in the bedroom due to heat from an electric heater. Three hypotheses were considered, with the most likely being the thermal effect from the heater, as the children were playing with fire. The fire's origin was traced to the bedroom, where the first materials to ignite were textiles. The tragic incident resulted in the death of the two children, aged 2 and 4, due to smoke inhalation.
