Farmers have an extended deadline until November 16 to submit projects for EU funding under the DR-14 intervention, which supports small farms. The initial deadline was October 31, but the Agency for Rural Investment Financing (AFIR) extended it following a request from the Union to Save the Romanian Peasant. This funding allows small farmers to access non-reimbursable grants of up to €50,000 per project, covering up to 85% of eligible expenses. Each of the three components—Vegetable Growing, Animal Husbandry, and Other Sectors—has a budget of €30 million, totaling €90 million. However, the Simple Purchases component is closed due to exhausted funds.
