Vladimir Putin warned the West about Russia's readiness for war with Europe, although he claims Russia does not desire conflict. During a Russia-Africa summit, he stated that no side would benefit from escalation and emphasized that the West has not achieved its goal of a strategic defeat for Russia. He expressed concerns about maritime security in the Baltic Sea and highlighted rising tensions in the region. Putin's remarks come amid increased Western fears regarding Russia's hybrid operations, with Germany raising its risk assessment level. Additionally, incidents linked to Russia are under investigation in the UK, and recent Russian attacks in Ukraine have intensified calls for a response from Western nations.
