On Thursday, the Serbian Public Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) buildings were evacuated due to a bomb threat that turned out to be false. This incident disrupted the main news broadcast amid post-election political tensions in Serbia, where supporters of the 'Student List' party aim to remove the old regime from power. The bomb threat targeted four RTS locations simultaneously, reflecting the political instability following the fall of Aleksandar Vučić's regime and the Student List's electoral victory. Pro-government media outlets, including Informer TV and Pink TV, were previously aligned with Vučić's administration. Recent protests against Informer TV highlighted the growing discontent among students, who have yet to officially assume control of the state despite their electoral win. They are demanding the resignation of key officials linked to the old system, while RTS's director resigned just a day prior.
