In 2024, 217 families will move into newly consolidated apartments in Bucharest, with ongoing seismic upgrades to old buildings. The first residents will return to a building on Biserica Enei Street, with completion expected in January 2027. Other historic buildings are also undergoing renovations, including one on Blănari Street, set to finish by the end of January. Five more buildings will be completed by 2027, while seven others are in various stages of construction. The municipality plans to start consolidating around 20 more buildings next year using non-reimbursable funds.
