The Valea Doftanei Local Council unanimously approved the transfer of land for the "Transbai" project, aimed at modernizing a 41-kilometer mountain road. This road will connect Gura Vitioarei and Valea Doftanei, potentially easing traffic on busy routes between Prahova and Brașov. The project, estimated at nearly 400 million lei, is set to be funded through the Regional Program Sud-Muntenia 2021-2027. The council transferred 17 plots of land totaling about 900 square meters to Prahova County, necessary for the road's construction. Further approvals are needed for land and financing before work can commence, which is expected to enhance local connectivity and tourism.
