The Rabla Auto 2026 program will reopen on November 3 for those who missed previous funding opportunities. The Ministry of Environment announced a budget of 35.4 million lei for this new session, aimed at replacing old vehicles with less polluting ones. The funds are from previously reserved amounts that were not fully processed. Different amounts are allocated based on vehicle type, with the majority for gasoline and hybrid cars. Applicants must scrap a vehicle older than eight years to qualify for an ecoticket. Applications can be submitted until December 31, 2026, but may close earlier if funds run out.
