The new Voluntary Contribution Collection Center on Șoseaua Alba Iulia is set to open, pending formal approval from local councilors. This project, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), has a total investment of over 4.4 million lei. The center allows residents to dispose of waste not collected in regular bins, featuring various containers for different types of waste. The decision to finalize the project comes at the request of the Ministry of Environment, which requires documentation for operational and financial closure of the PNRR. The municipality will cover all operational costs for at least five years.
