China has unveiled images of the CE-25A, a 19-seat fully electric airliner developed by COMAC. The current testing status of the aircraft remains unclear, but it reflects a growing interest in electric propulsion. The CE-25A is designed for short to medium-haul flights, with a cruising speed of around 400 km/h and a range of 400 to 500 km. Its unique feature is a distributed electric propulsion system using 10 ducted fans instead of conventional turboprop engines. While the images appear authentic, there is no confirmation of the aircraft's flight status yet.
