Two family members, Horia and Elena Francisc-Țurcanu, were arrested by DIICOT for drug trafficking during a retreat organized by their foundation in Hunedoara. The foundation, which promoted spiritual and healing practices, was found to possess significant quantities of illegal substances, including DMT and coca leaves. Authorities executed a search warrant during an event where participants were engaged in activities related to self-discovery and healing. Following the investigation, a judge was approached to impose house arrest on the suspects for 30 days.
