A 13-year-old boy involved in a knife attack at a school in Bistrița has been discharged from psychiatric care and taken for questioning. The boy injured a teacher and two classmates on October 19. Following the incident, he was expelled from Școala Gimnazială „Ștefan cel Mare” but may return to education next year at a different school. The court has issued eight protection orders for the victims, requiring the boy to maintain a distance of 50 meters and wear an electronic monitoring device. Contact with the victims is strictly prohibited.
