OMV Petrom reported a 29% decrease in gas storage compared to last year, with 2.9 TWh currently stored. The company relies mainly on third-party sources for its gas supply, as its own production declines ahead of the Neptun Deep project. Despite a drop in sales volumes, overall consumption is expected to remain stable year-on-year. Transgaz's director stated that storage levels are currently at 88%, indicating sufficient supply, although lower than last year. He warned that a harsh winter could lead to temporary shortages in late January or February.
