Discord is updating its public servers to make conversations searchable online, aiming to help users find useful information. Starting November 16, 2026, all Discoverable Servers will have a web page showcasing discussions and summaries. Some messages may appear in search results from mid-December 2026. Server admins can choose to keep their servers hidden from search engines, and users can hide their messages. The change has raised privacy concerns among users, particularly regarding the exposure of conversations and potential AI training. In several regions, the feature is disabled by default due to legal restrictions, and it is not available for teenage users.
