China is developing an unmanned trimaran submarine capable of launching hypersonic anti-ship missiles with a range of 2,000 km, posing a significant threat to the U.S. Navy. This autonomous vessel, identified through satellite images, can carry 16-18 YJ-20 missiles, which may reach speeds of Mach 9.
