The prefeasibility study for the express road connecting Râmnicu Vâlcea to the Sibiu-Pitești highway has been approved by CNAIR. The documentation will be reviewed by the Ministry of Transport, which will also seek funding sources. The next steps include the approval of the documentation and preparation for the feasibility study, which will determine the route and investment value. Until the express road is completed, the connection will continue via DN 73C, which is undergoing rehabilitation funded by various sources. The current execution stage of the rehabilitation is approximately 80%.
