Romania plans to build four new road bridges over the Prut River, with feasibility studies completed. The projects are currently in the phase of obtaining necessary approvals. After technical and economic indicators are approved and funding sources identified, CNAIR will initiate tenders for design and construction, expected to take 30 months in total. The Minister of Transport reaffirmed Romania's commitment to infrastructure projects with Moldova, including the ongoing bridge at Ungheni and the future A8 highway. Each project will feature a new bridge, border control point, and access road. The design phase is estimated to last six months, followed by 24 months for construction.
