Mazarine, founded by Edward van Kersbergen, has been active in Romania since 2016, operating multiple oil and gas fields. The company reported a projected revenue of 135 million lei for 2025, despite a recent net loss. Mazarine also expanded its presence by acquiring a stake in Wintershall Noordzee B.V. this year.
