A vaccination campaign against sheep and goat pox is set to begin in Alba County, with 10,000 doses allocated. The vaccines will be distributed to veterinarians after arriving at DSVSA Alba's stock. Licensed veterinarians will carry out the immunization under DSVSA supervision to curb disease spread and aid in resuming sheep exports from Romania. Meetings were held to organize the campaign, involving veterinary officials and animal breeders. The vaccine, provided by the European Commission, has been tested and shown to protect against disease mortality.
