The opening of Section 4 of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway depends on final tunnel tests and the completion of the exit to DN73G. CNAIR's director announced that tests are scheduled for late November 2026. The Momaia tunnel, 1,350 meters long, has advanced monitoring systems to ensure safety. The exit to DN73G is over 80% complete, and the highway section is built by PORR for 1.678 billion lei. After opening, 54 kilometers of the highway will be operational.
