The Niculescu Government has outlined several priorities, including the SAFE program, pension and salary increases, and the 2027 budget. The SAFE program will provide Romania with approximately €16.7 billion, with the first tranche already received. Future payments depend on project implementation progress. Additionally, the government aims to avoid tax increases starting in 2027 while considering the expansion of the tax base. Pension indexing is also a priority, potentially starting January 1, 2027, subject to budget availability. A budget revision is also in preparation.
