Estonia can proceed with acquiring 600 concrete bunkers for its eastern border after the Supreme Court's decision. This project is part of the Baltic Defense Line initiative aimed at enhancing regional security. The court dismissed an appeal from Nordic Shield Group AB regarding the procurement process, allowing the Estonian Defense Investments Center to continue selecting suppliers. The goal is to sign a contract by March 2027, contingent on successful completion of all procurement stages. The bunkers are intended to strengthen military infrastructure and have undergone explosion resistance testing. Estonia's efforts align with NATO's security objectives in the eastern flank.
